Whilst shooting this, my ND filter fell off and was swept into the Atlantic, doh!!

This is something i am not much good at and that is to get the right amount of 'milkiness' in the flow of water. It's either not enough or it's to much. You have got it just right, This is a beautiful image and the colours are lovely.

@MaryP: It's a really hit & miss technique, I first had a go at this back when I was shooting film and it was certainly more difficult then!

Is the ND filter plus super low ISO and small aperture to get a long exposure in bright light? The long exposure is what does the cool water effect?

@James: Alright there. It was really, really sunny and I had to get as slow a shutter as possible (the opposite of what we usually want!!) in order to get that fluid blur. Even with the smallest aperture, lowest ISO and a x4 ND filter it still wasn't really getting slow enough and not many shots worked. I gave up after the filter made its break for freedom!
